Well history has been made. The Clone of Docs Serendipity just sold.
she brought $14,ooo.
I do not know whether to be surprised or not. I do not know if there are issues that the general public does not know, or if people are afraid to get involved yet, or if they just did not like her. Was Docs Serendiptiy not the one to clone--do people think this one cannot compete with today's cutting horses, or not produce well enough? Is it the lack of registration? I kind of doubt that.
Interesting.
How many will there be next year? Lots or none?
On another note, a 4 year old High Brow Cat daughter, Icing on the Cat with earnings of $237,000 already and one of only two horses ever to be a finalist in the open and non pro class of all three majors (the other was Jazzabell Quixote), brought $500K. I wonder what she would have brought had she sold in the show horse sale rather than this one? She was stunning and with two more years of eligibility ahead of her, someone just bought a business.

I just had to leave a comment. You work hard to keep all "informed" and the rest are out "shopping and partying" ! ! !
However, from your horse student. I didn't know horses were cloned.
As you said "interesting"
You will come home to snow. Be careful
